Willowood USA announced today that Federal EPA has approved it’s Willowood Mesotrione 4SC product.

Willowood Mesotrione 4SC is a long lasting, broad spectrum, residual herbicide used primarily for the control of tough broadleaf weeds in corn.

“Although our portfolio of products has grown significantly since our companies formation in 2009, we have had a gap in our lineup of corn herbicides” states Brian Heinze – Willowood USA President and CEO. “ As one of the leading corn herbicides in American agriculture, the launch of Willowood Mesotrione 4SC quickly fills that gap”.

With already approved State registrations, Willowood USA plans to market Willowood Mesotrione 4SC in time for the 2016 US corn market.

“We have been anticipating this registration” stated Casey Daniel, Willowood USA National Account Manager. “but quite frankly, the EPA approved this registration quicker than we had expected”. Daniel went on to say “With the challenging commodity price situation this season, we will now be able to offer US corn growers with a generic alternative to the higher priced name brand products”.

With wide flexibility in application timing and tank mix partners, Willowood Mesotrione 4SC will provide US corn growers the ability to tailor their herbicide program to their specific needs.

Willowood USA continues to set the pace as one of the fastest growing generic crop protection companies in US agriculture. Willowood USA is a U.S. based manufacturer of post patent crop protection herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and plant growth regulators for the agriculture, turf and vegetation management industries.
